Burnley Park Dog Off Leash Area (Burnley)
Burnley Park covers more than 6 hectares and overlooks the Yarra River. Features of the park include a playground, soccer / cricket ground, basketball court (2 hoops), picnic tables, BBQ, plenty of shade, water taps and toilets.
The park is an off leash area including the oval (when sport is not being played on it) and the circus site south of the railway line (except when the circus is in town since we don't want dogs barking at the circus cat). The exception is an environmentally sensitive area south and east of the oval. This is an area of light bushland with a track running through it. There are a number of bins and water taps with bowl around the park.
