Review:
An interesting reserve to explore with a creek, retarding basin high with bulrushes, seasonal wildflowers and a good variety of local indigenous species.
There's a small car park area at the end of Tereddan Drive. A track leads into the reserve but there are many branches off every track so you can wander wherever you like, especially since there's no map for the reserve - however Google maps is your friend if you want to know where you are. If you do a walk around the entire reserve including along Bungalook Creek, the distance is about 3.5km.
Bungalook Creek cuts across the reserve running east west and there's a track on the south side, which is interesting to follow. At a little waterfall the track crosses to the north side of the creek, but it's best to turn back here. The west end of the creek runs into a wetlands area with high reeds.
Tracks can be quite muddy after rain. This area is a flood retarding basin and there can be sudden rising water after heavy rain. Do not use this area when flooded.
There's a bin at the car park.
