Bulla Hill Railway (Bulla)
You can ride on our 7.25' gauge steam or diesel locomotives, and, although able to carry fewer passengers, the smaller 5' or 3.5' gauge track and a variety of members private locomotives are often also available as a special treat. Note: steam trains operate subject to fire restrictions
The large gauge track is 1400 metres long, a scenic ride taking 12 - 15 minutes, travelling through cuttings and over bridges with a view of Mt Macedon in the background. The smaller gauge track is 800 metres long and equally attractive.
There is an enclosed private picnic area complete with coin in the slot barbecue and there are toilet facilities and a kiosk at the station. There is also a great children's playground right outside our gates in the public parkland area.
Note: Train passengers are required to wear fully enclosed footwear.

Review:
An interesting ride which lasts a long time, has great views and fun elements for the kids such as dinosaurs beside the track. Both steam and diesel trains operate. There is also a train themed playground next to the station.
