Buckley Park Tennis Club (Essendon)

Buckley Park Tennis Club was formed in 1957 and provides an opportunity for all to play tennis. We have a progressive juniors program where the children progress from coaching to competition with grades to suit all levels of ability. There are seven synthetic grass courts.

Competition
Competitions include:

Junior Competition - The North Suburban Juniors Tennis Association is a strong junior competition available to all junior players up to 17 years of age in the Northern suburbs. There are two seasons per year - the first run over terms 1 & 2 and the second run over terms 3 & 4. There is no play during school holidays.
Night Competition - Buckley Park Tennis Club is affiliated with the North Suburban Night Tennis Association. All competition starts at 7pm. There are two seasons per year which usually run from Feb to May and Aug to Nov. Ladies competition is run on Tuesday nights, Mixed on Wednesday nights and Mens on Thursday nights.
Mid-Week Ladies Competition - North Suburban Ladies Tennis Association runs on Thursdays. This is a day for all the ladies from Section 1 to Section 10 to get away from work and enjoy a day of tennis.
Saturday Afternoon - There are two competitions - Mens singles and doubles plus Mixed doubles

Coaching
Coaching programs are conducted by Peter Hubble from Peter Hubble Tennis. Programs include Hot Shots, Kids Classes, Kids Tennis Parties and Cardio Tennis.

Court Hire
If you just want to have a casual hit, you can either play at one of our organised social days or make a booking via Book a Court. Both members and non members need to book a court for casual play.
