Buangor - Lar-ne-jeering Aboriginal Rock Art

There is a very nice 1.8km return walk in the Langi Ghiran State Park to the Aboriginal rock art site which sits within a granite rock shelter. To the Djab Wurrung, this area is a sacred site.
There's a small car park for about four cars and signage for the walk about 900m from the highway along Langi Ghiran Track. A narrow track leads through gum trees. The route is very clear and there are arrows on posts to follow from the car park. It's a gradual uphill walk with lots of tree roots across the track which are a trip hazard if you're not careful.

You will come to two huge boulders leaning against each other. Go through the gap between the boulders to a fenced area where the indigenous art is located under a small overhang.
The location is at the southern end of Langi Ghiran Park and so there is a fair bit of road noise and you pass some private property along the way.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are not permitted in the park.
