Brighton Union Cricket Club
Brighton Union Cricket Club, which was was formed on 23 September 1907, is one of Victoria's most successful clubs, winning 23 1st XI premierships and many more premierships in the lower grades. Through it's excellence on and off the field, Brighton Union Cricket Club has come to be known as the acknowledged leaders.
Thanks to our formidable junior cricket program, we are proud to provide many social and sporting opportunities for under-age players, as well as opportunities to develop leadership skills. We have a many teams competing at different age and skill levels from ages 9 and up.
Brighton Union has produced two Australian Test-match players, Julien Weiner and Simon Davis, as well as numerous Victorian premier grade cricketers, and former Victorian star Nick Jewell.
As well as providing for lots of on-field action, the club also runs many social functions throughout the season, and is always welcoming of newcomers.
The club is affiliated with the South East Cricket Association and All Girls Cricket Competition.
The club is based at Hurlingham Park, East Brighton.
