Brighton Recreational Centre (Brighton)
The Brighton Recreational Centre is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing recreational, educational, cultural and sporting activities to reflect the needs of all ages and abilities in the local community.
We offer family fun for everyone of all abilities with over 25 sporting and artistic programs for children and adults, plus a comprehensive and competitive gymnastics program, school holiday programs, squash courts and room hire facilities.
More than 2,000 people each week enjoy our safe, friendly and stimulating environment in which each individual is able to achieve their goals through participation in their chosen activity - regardless of their skill level.
Being part of a community has great benefit to an individual's mental health and emotional wellbeing. The connections made when taking part in activities such as those offered at Brighton Rec can provide happiness, security, support and a sense of purpose.

Services
Children's Programs
We offer a wide range of fun and stimulating programs for both pre-school and school aged children which operate throughout the school term.
Pre-School programs include Childcare, Dance, Gymnastics, Mini Maestros, Pre-School Holiday Program, Sportzbuzz and Taekwondo.
School age programs include Art2Heart, BAM Arts Inc, Dance, Gymnastics, Holiday Programs, Melbourne Young Writer's Studio, Painting and Drawing, Pottery, Spanish and Taekwondo.
Adult Programs
With our expansive range of adult classes ranging from arts and craft to healthy living activities, you'll be sure to find the perfect program just for you.
Adult programs include Drawing and Sketching, Pottery, Pottery - All Abilities, Sewing, Watercolour painting, BAM Arts Inc, Pilates Inspired Clinical Exercise, Feldenkrais Classes, Fitness for over 50's, Meditation, Movement to Music, Strength for Life, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Yoga.
Gymnastics
Kindergym, tumbling, general gymnastics or competitive gymnastics - no matter what level you are it's time to get involved with Brighton Rec Gymnastics.
Childcare
We offer occasional care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years as well as a 3 year old Kinder program which are both stimulating and fun for your creative and adventurous little one.
Birthday Parties
Why not book your child's next birthday party at Brighton Rec? Enjoy a Gymnastic party run by experienced coaches or hire one of our rooms and run your own party. The choice is yours!
Gymnastics Parties - Held in the Gymnasium where qualified coaches provide a series of fun activities including bars, beam, floor, mini tramp and rings. Your child will enjoy 1 hour of time in the gym, and 30 minutes allocated for food and birthday cake. Gymnastics parties are suitable for children aged 5 years and older.
Do It Yourself Parties - Hire a room at the Centre and run your own party or hire an entertainer to help you out. Our rooms are suitable for children and available on weekends during the school term.

Holiday Programs
Don't miss out on our fantastic school holiday program run throughout each school holiday period. We run a fun-filled gymnastics program, pre-school program and a school age program guaranteed to keep your child entertained during the holidays.
Pre School holiday program will be run by Sportzbuzz which is designed especially for 3 to 6 year olds.
School Age Holiday Program for 5-12 year olds includes excursions and incursions as well as a range of fun filled activities here at the Centre.
Gymnastics Holiday Program - Looking for an active and exciting way to spend your holidays? Then why not give our gymnastics holiday program a try! Children will have the opportunity to develop existing skills as well as learn new and exciting skills. The children will use vault, bars, beams, floor, double and mini trampolines as well as rings. This program is aimed at primary school aged boys and girls (5 to 12 years) who already do gymnastics as well as those who are wanting to give it a try for the first time. All abilities will be catered for.
