Brighton Bathing Boxes (Brighton)
Located on the Dendy Street Beach, the colourful Brighton bathing boxes are a Melbourne icon.
There are 82 bathing boxes in Brighton (the number may change in the future based on council planning permits). They are simple structures but have classic Victorian architectural features such as weatherboards and corrugated iron roofs. They have no connected amenities such as electricity or water.

The beach is a dog off leash beachduring parts of the year.
