The northern section from Gilsland Road to Dandenong Road (260m long) and the southern section from Lawrance Street to Neerim Road (220m long) are off-leash areas. The middle section (150m long), including the playground area, is on-leash. The park is a long thin strip about 40m wide with a multi-use path along it's length.
At the northern end there is a shelter with tables, unshaded table, BBQ, bin, water tap with bowl and bike repair station. Dogs must be on-leash within 20m of the playground and BBQ areas. In the middle section which is on-leash is a playground under shade sails with unshaded table and seats and a great Snakes & Ladders game. There is a water tap with bowl in this area. To the south of the playground the park continues all the way to Neerim Road.
