Boort Historical Pillars

There are a series of pillars running along Godfrey Street from Nolens Park up to around the Post Office which display a large amount of historical information (photos and text) about the Boort area.

Come and see our historic ‘PILLARS OF THE PAST’ bringing the rich history of Boort & district to the streets. Boort Historical Society has orchestrated the creation of nine historic pillars of researched documents, and early photographs of the surrounding district from the time of settlement to now.

Follow the pillars from the railway end of Godfrey Street, across to the Post Office and down to Nolen’s Park by the Lake.
