Bogong Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Glen Waverley)
The reserve had a lot of trees / bushland and is criss-crossed by a wide path. The bushland are areas of sensitive vegetation (well signposted) and dogs and people need to stick to the path. In the middle of the reserve in a clearing is a decent playground.
Around the edge on the western side is a pond with a bridge across the path which is an on-leash area.
There is parking at the end of Montclair Avenue. This area near the parking has a section which is open and grassy. If you follow along this grassy area you'll reach a strip which leads out onto Grace Street where the neighbouring fences are all on a big lean and in a precarious state. Be careful because it feels like the bark of a dog would be enough to send them toppling over. There is a bin near the parking area but no water tap.
