Blue Hills Berries and Cherries (Silvan)
Visitors flock to Blue Hills Berries and Cherries farms between November and April to enjoy the U-Pick experience. Located in Silvan, at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, Blue Hills is just over an hour's drive east of Melbourne. The first home and farm of U-Pick on Parker Road.
Bring the family and enjoy picking fresh berries and cherries in the morning and then relax with a family BBQ at the nearby Silvan Reservoir. Situated just 20 minutes from Puffing Billy and 20 minutes from Yarra Valley's famous wineries, why not make a weekend of it!

Season: Cherries (Late Nov - Jan), Strawberries (Nov to Dec again Feb to Mar), Raspberries (Mid Nov to Jan, then again in early Mar), Boysenberries (Mid Dec -Early Jan). Youngberries (Mid Dec), Blackberries (Mid Dec - Jan), Loganberries (Early Dec), Blueberries (Dec- Jan)
Cost:
For berries, entry includes all you can eat berries whilst in the orchard. Berries that you pick to take home are weighed and paid for upon exit. EFT facilities are available.
Entry is $15 for Adult, $7.50 for Child (5-14 years) and Under 5 Free. On-line booking not required, simply check the fruit report & then buy your tickets at the door. Strawberries: $10 per Kg (weighed upon exit), Blueberries & raspberries: $16 per kg (weighed upon exit).
For cherries, entry includes all you can eat cherries whilst in the orchard. Cherries that you pick to take home are weighed and paid for upon exit. EFT facilities are available, picking buckets are free to hire and there is a picking demonstration. There are three sessions per day and a session needs to be booked.
Weekday entry is $15 for Adult, $13.50 for Concession, $7.50 for Child (5-14 years) and Under 5 Free. Weekend & Public Holiday entry is $18 for Adult, $16.50 for Concession, $9 for Child (5-14 years) and Under 5 Free. Cherries: $15.00 Kg (weighed & paid for upon exit).
