Black Rock Playground, Beach Road, Black Rock
A new ship is sailing the seas and it's the Jolly Black Rock. The highlight of this playground which was upgraded in 2012 is a large sailing ship which has two wave slides, captain's steering wheel, rope climbing net, high balance beam with rope sides, curved ladder, clock and various educational panels - who said the only school pirates know is a school of fish! There is a section under shade sails with a family sized see-saw, inclined donut spinner and stand-on spinner. Also a square stand-on rocker, four swings, birds nest swing, very high pyramid rope climbing frame, wooden balance beam and play ships carved out of wood. In a nice location overlooking the water and quite well fenced in from Beach Road and the water.
Unshaded tables and seats, BBQs, water tap and limited grassy area.
