Berwick Pony Club (Clyde North)

We are a friendly, family orientated Club located at Oakwood Riding School - "The Meadows" in Clyde North, with our rallies being held every last Sunday of the month. Most of our rallies are held here except for cross country outings and camps.

Berwick Pony Club is one of the five oldest Pony Clubs in Victoria. Our club is well supported by our parents and enjoys a friendly and supportive family environment. Berwick Pony Club is a friendly, dynamic, exciting, family-oriented club that caters to riders of all ages and all abilities.

Our aim is to encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all approved types of sport connected with horses and riding. To provide instruction in horsemanship and riding and to instil in the members the proper care of their animals. And to promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship, and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline.

We are lucky enough to have Oakwood Riding School as our homegrounds, equipped with an indoor arena, 2 large outdoor arenas, a cross country course, wash bays and day yards. Not to mention the great club rooms.

Our rally starts at 9.30am with gear check. Followed by two morning riding lessons, lunch, theory and a riding lesson in the afternoon finishing the day around 3.30pm. We cater for all ages and abilities; from littlies on leads to the more advanced riders.
