Bentleigh Sunday Market
Bentleigh Sunday Market is one of the oldest Trash 'n Treasure markets in Melbourne. With over 130 stalls, you will find plants, clothing, cosmetics, jewellery, books, videos, tools, antiques, crafts, pre-loved goods, and more! A great place to have a car boot sale!
Located at the Bentleigh railway station car park, Bent Street, opposite Coles supermarket.
The Bentleigh Sunday Market is a fundraising project of the Rotary Club of Bentleigh Moorabbin Central. All proceeds go to local charities and Rotary projects.
Tables and clothing racks available for hire at $10 each.
No smoking, bikes, or supermarket trolleys allowed in.
Opening Hours:
The market operates every Sunday of the year 7am to 12 noon (excluding Christmas and New Year's Day)
Cost:
Shoppers and visitors are asked for a coin donation, per adult, upon entry. The recommended entrance donation is only 50 cents per person - children enter free.
All proceeds from the Bentleigh Sunday Market go toward local area and Rotary International projects.
Parking:
- Please note that the "No Standing" parking signs opposite the market entrance say "No Standing from 6am to 2pm". Parking inspectors regularly enforce this regulation. There is ample free parking behind all the shops in Centre Road Bentleigh.
- "No Standing" in the lane way behind the apartment block and railway line at any time. This is exclusively for access and egress of the residents in that complex.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are permitted within the Market. You must, however, conform to local council by-laws. Dogs must be on a leash and be under the control of a suitably capable person. You are also expected to "clean up" after your dog.
