Belvoir Park Playground, Huon Street, Wodonga
Super playground which has a fenced and unfenced areas with safety gates controlling access to different areas. A ramp leads around the back of the playground to a large elevated platform which has a high wave slide, climbing wall, straight and metals slides and rope climbing ladder. Underneath are various small tunnels and mirrors. The ramp also leads to an elevated area with dual wave slides.
There is a large sandpit, boat shaped structure and little slide for the younger kids. Under the ramps are a variety of educational type activities boards. The fenced area has four swings including two hammocks.
In the open unfenced area is a large pyramid climbing frame, birds nest swing, donut on an angle which spins around, four swings, structure with hanging disks, flying fox, monkey rungs and stepping stones.
Number of shelters with tables and shaded seats scattered about. Water taps. Toilets are about 50m away from the playground area. Next to a large grassy area and about 50m away from a lake with water birds. There is a simple playground structure next to the lake.
The playground is set amid Belvoir Park, a large open space with established trees and a lake abundant with water birds. The park features a walking track around the lake, picnic and BBQ facilities and shelters plus public toilets.
