Take a short stroll through shady, ferny forest to arrive at the base of Silverband Falls. The falls, fed by Dairy Creek, were named by European settlers for the narrow band of water that tumbles down the rock face. Watch the water 'disappear' into the rocks at the base, re-emerging some 50 metres further downstream. Visit in spring to see wildflowers in bloom in the area.

From the Silverband Falls carpark, stroll 700m through shady, ferny forest. Cross a rock crossing to arrive at the base of Silverband Falls. Return via the same route. The route is easy over a good track.

Access for Dogs:


Dogs are not allowed in the Grampians National Park except within vehicles on sealed roads and in sealed parking areas.
