Beechworth - Newtown Falls

Newtown Falls along Spring Creek are only a short distance from Beechworth along Gorge Road close to Bridge Road and the Newtown bridge.
There is a parking area and viewing platform beside Gorge Road.
The falls are best viewed after rain. Water falls over the brightly coloured cliff face. This was once the site of a sawmill powered by a large paddle wheel.
