Beech Forest - Beauchamp Falls
Beauchamp Falls is set in a lovely setting. It is about a 2 km walk from the car park to the falls on a fairly well made and maintained track (a little washed away) with many steps. A good fitness level is required as the return trip is all uphill and around 200 steps.
There is a carpark, toilets, wood BBQ and tables.
Directions - Head towards Colac along the Princes Freeway. In Colac turn left onto Colac-Beech Forest Rd/Colac-Lavers Hill Rd. Continue to follow Colac-Beech Forest Rd. At Fegerson turn left onto Beech Forest-Lavers Rd, continue along here till you reach Aire Valley Road/Binns Road, just past Beechs Forest. Turn Right onto Aire Valley Road/Binns Road and proceed for approx 2km until the turnoff to Beauchamp Falls Road. Follow this road until the carpark.
Access for Dogs:
This area is managed by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) and dogs are permitted on leash.
