Beckett Park Dog Off Leash Area (Balwyn)
Beckett Park is an off leash area except for the indigenous flora reserve which is an on-leash area. The park is next to the Maranoa Gardens which dogs are prohibited from.
The main area for dogs is a slightly sloping area which runs along the middle of the park in a east - west direction. This area is about 170m x 60m in size. South of the playground is a secluded spot with lots of trees where dogs can also wander around.
Near the northern pedestrian entrance from Yarrabat Avenue there is a water tap with bowl, table and seat. On the southern side near the carpark from Parring Road there are toilets and bins. In the south east corner there is a big playground where dogs are not permitted. There is a great Stone Observation Tower to get nice views of the park.
