The Cyril Callister Museum celebrates all things Vegemite. Discover the man who invented this famous Aussie icon who was born in Chute, Pyrenees. Enjoy a wide range of Vegemite memorabilia and merchandise.

The Museum educates locals and visitors about the life, work and legacy of Cyril Callister. It celebrates all things Vegemite and hosts tours, speakers and events with a portion of the proceeds returned to the Cyril Callister Foundation scholarship program which is designed to assist regional youth follow in the footsteps of Cyril Callister and study at university.

See heritage photographs and memorabilia like a Vegemite tin issued in WWII army rations to Australian soldiers or a Vegemite jar issued in Mothercraft gift packs given to all new mums at Tweddle Baby Hospital, Footscray, in the 1950s. View old television footage and sing along to the Happy Little Vegemites' jingle.

The Museum offers a range of official Vegemite merchandise for sale with a portion of profits returned to a foundation.

The museum is located at servo@23, an old petrol station which has been repurposed as a community arts, events and creative co-working space.

Private tours, by appointment, are approximately $15 per head including morning / afternoon tea.

The museum is run by passionate volunteers with all proceeds going to a wonderful foundation. The museum will definitely open your eyes to the range of things you can do with Vegemite including creating artworks.
