Batesford Reserve Playground, Power Avenue, Chadstone
Just like being back in London except this time there is a double-decker playground instead of a double-decker bus. Two multi-level structures connected together with a low and high walk/crawl-way. Has one really nice slide and a smaller slide. Another separate lower structure has spiral slide, walkways and ladder. Four swings in total. Two springers.
Seats with lots of shade. BBQs and tables with limited shade - protected by walls with round holes in them and a wire framed roof. It might look artistic but has a SPF factor of 0.5.
Batesford Reserve, which is part of the Batesford Community Hub, has cricket nets, sporting oval and a stadium run by the Waverley Basketball Association. Batesford is also home to the Ashburton Women's Soccer Club, St Pauls Cricket Club and the Mt Waverley Uniting/Catholic Cricket Club.
The reserve is a dog off-lead area.
