Batesford - Dog Rocks
An interesting area to explore which has a dramatic granite outcrop which provide interesting photographic opportunities and rock climbing for the kids. Also a fun area for remote control rock crawlers. The area obtained its name from local wild dogs that once lived around the rocks.
Entry is through a small gate from the side street right next to the playground.
Note: This area is separate to the Dogs Rocks Flora and Fauna Sanctuary which is nearby.
