Barwon Valley Fun Park Playground, Barrabool Road, Belmont
A real old fashioned playground which lives up to its name and is heaps of fun. It is a bit rundown but that doesn't really spoil the fun - just part of the experience. There are lots of opportunities for play acting here.
Each piece of equipment is separate from the others in a large grassy area. There is a large pink cubby house with steps, ladder, fireman's pole, telescope, walkway and steering wheel, standalone wave slide, wooden bridge, large diameter concrete pipe tunnels, wooden platform with ladder which looks like it is surplus stock from a Dr Who episode, large round sandpit with a small structure and two springers, structure with spiral slide, fireman's pole, steps and curved ladder, sandpit with two mechanical scoops, four person rocker, carousel, swings and basketball court.
Tables, BBQs shaded under trees, unshaded seats, toilets and water tap. Quite close to the river.
There is an outdoor gym in the park.
