Barton Court Playground, Warrnambool
A playground with a bit of quirkiness including a stone crocodile head with a door knob eyes which rotates around. It seems like no matter where you go in the playground the eyes of a hungry crocodile follow you. How intimidating that is depends on how much personal harm a stone crocodile head can inflict on you.
There is also a lovely table which sits on a revolving turntable with sculptured seats. It's a pleasure to sit here although keep the revolutions low or breakfast may suddenly reappear.
A soft spongy blue base leads to two small but steep wave slides at the end of a bowl. There is also a medium sized rope pyramid climbing frame, a pier which sticks out with a climbing wall, fireman's pole, speak and listen system, birds nest swing and standard swings.
Shelter with table plus unshaded seats. Limited grassy area for play.
