Barngeong Reserve Playground, Bambra Street, Croydon
The playground has been upgraded and is now fringed by a line of rocks and logs around a structure with a metal slide, climbing wall, rope ladder, rope bridge, steps, small plastic slide, fireman's pole and a shop front selling produce for $2.10 - I wish that was all the money I spent when visiting the supermarket.
There is also a spinning rope cone, monkey bars, flying fox, see-saw and a big frame with six swings so kids can swing towards each other (which is actually a lot of fun).
There is a shelter with one table, some seats under a huge shady tree and big grassy area to play. There are toilets near the pavilion but they are locked except when sporting events are on.
Barngeong Reserve is a large sporting precinct with three ovals, two baseball diamonds and a pavilion. The reserve is home to Croydon North Cricket Club, Croydon Junior Football Club
Croydon Baseball Club.
