Ballarat - Victoria Park Disc Golf

Ballarat - Victoria Park Disc Golf

Get your flying discs ready and head down to Victoria Park to start your 18-hole round of disc golf.

Disc golf is similar to traditional golf. Instead of hitting a ball with a club, players throw a disc from the tee pad to a basket. The aim of the game is to complete each hole in the fewest throws possible.

An 18-hole course has been set up in Victoria Park, starting and finishing at the Elm Avenue entrance to Victoria Park.

How and where do you get discs from?
If you have your own flying discs at home, you can use those on the disc golf course.

You can purchase discs from SportsPower in Wendouree.

You can hire discs from the City of Ballarat. You will be able to hire up to four discs per family for one day. If you want to know more about hiring discs, please contact teagankenny@ballarat.vic.gov.au.

How do you keep score?
You can keep score using the UDisc app. It can be downloaded on both Android and Apple devices.

Review:

The 18 holes are spread out over the large park. The start of the course is near the all abilities playground. It's a beautiful course with some fairways under an arch of trees.
