Bacchus Marsh - Peppertree Walk
The 3.0km walk starts at Peppertree Park which is located next to the Bacchus Marsh Outdoor Swimming Pool in Grant Street. The park has a shelter with tables and seats, two shelters with one table, one unshaded table, grassy area with posts and an amphitheatre with seating.

There is a path which runs upstream beside the Werribee River for about 1.5km before looping back. The gravel path which leads from the park is high above the river.
You will pass an area with little houses on the trees and a place where you can do "The Dog Sat on a Tucker Box". A path leads down to the river bank with a table.
The turnaround point is at Halletts Way. You can cross the bridge to the other side of the river or return along the same side of the river. The path is also used by cyclists and dog walkers.
Access for Dogs:
Peppertree Park is a dog off leash area and dogs are permitted on leash for the remainder of the walk.
