Axedale Golf Course
The 18 hole golf course with grass greens is situated in a picturesque, natural setting along the banks of the Campaspe River in the township of Axedale, some 15km east of Bendigo.
The grass greens and lush fairways are irrigated from river by way of a recently refurbished and computerised pumping and reticulation system, ensuring year round excellence in playing conditions. There is a modern clubhouse with kitchen and bar facilities. We have reciprocal rights with several other clubs and use golf Link to track handicap.
The course is definitely Bendigo's hidden treasure. It's not long, but you must be straight off the tee or you will pay the price on your score card. The course features several signature holes, including two majestic par fives along the river and the magnificent 15th with its sunken green.
A round at Axedale is a must for all golfers, whether your focus is a golfing challenge or beautiful surrounds. We're confident you'll return.
