Aspendale Life Saving Club
Aspendale Life Saving Club was established in 1926 and is still providing services to its local community and ensuring a fun beach environment for everyone.
Being a member of Aspendale Life Saving Club means so much more than a donation to a worthy cause! As a member you are entitled to use the facilities the club has to offer when it is open, provided it is not booked for a private function or activity.
Aspendale Life Saving Club provide training opportunities to its Senior (13 years and older) and Junior (5 years - 13years) Members.
Senior Members have the opportunity to train with qualified coaches on a twice weekly basis. They will learn new skills, become fit and active as well as making new, life long friends.
Junior Members have a opportunity to participate in the Nippers Program. Aspendale Life Saving Club aims to encourage all children to achieve, do their best and develop to their full potential, whilst learning new skills and having fun. We encourage participation in all activities.
The vision for our nippers program is to provide a safe and friendly environment where both nippers and parents can learn and enhance their knowledge about Surf Life Saving and to prepare our nippers to eventually be patrolling members of our club.
Beach Patrol - Aspendale Beach is patrolled by qualified volunteer personnel from November to Easter each year. This includes providing a safe area that people visiting the beach can enjoy, assisting with the rescue and treatment of possible casualties and providing water safety support for specific events run by the Club.
Aspendale Nippers - Our Nipper program runs from November to March on Sunday mornings at 10:30am.
