There is a car park along Winbirra Parade which provides access to the northern oval along High Street Road and to the Hedley Hull hockey field (which is not suitable for dogs).
Next to the car park is a pavilion, three unshaded tables and a rubbish bin. There is a big square grassy area with some soccer goals to the north and an embankment with some trees provides some protection from High Street Road.
Running along the west is a shared use trail which can be busy with cyclists. There is a 100m long section of the trail you need to follow before the reserve opens up again into a wide area with an outdoor gym and two rugby fields used by the Harlequins Rugby Club. This area has two pavilions with the eastern one having toilets at the back. There are bins at both pavilions. This area is also called Holmesglen Reserve and Jingella Reserve. There are no water taps for dogs in the whole reserve.
