Ascot Park Playground, Clairwood Avenue, Pakenham
A beautifully created area with lovely gardens, extensive shelter with two tables, BBQ and water tap, an oval with concrete bike/running track around the outside, AFL posts in the middle and a basketball half-court on the side.
The playground itself doesn't have a lot of play equipment. There's a tall tower with steep metal slide, rope net ladder, fireman's pole and a thick rope which connects the tower to a little wooden platform with a ladder. Also a birds nest swing, big log balance beam and two horse springers.
On the other side of a garden is a mound with a wide metal side with a weird horse head sticking out.
