Artists Park Playground, Prince Street, Box Hill South
A set of brown structures with plenty of opportunities for the avid climbers in the family. A series of steps lead to an elevated area from which a ramp runs. Access is also provided via a hard climbing wall and a curved scrambling wall. Suspended step boards lead to a high zig-zag balance beam, ladder, curved ladder and metal slide. There is also a big fun climbing structure with rope net sections and traversing sections.
Along the playground is a metal slide on the side of a little hill, wooden climbing tree, stand-on carousel for a couple of kids, extensive balance beam area and swings including one with a frame for toddlers. There are plenty of rocks and logs to walk along.
Shaded seats, unshaded seats, water tap, grassy area and a basketball court about 100m away. The playground was upgraded in 2015.
