    Ararat Fenced Dog Park

    The fenced dog park, which includes areas for play, agility training and tricks, is located east of Alexandra Gardens. There is a double entry gate, two shaded seats, three unshaded seats, dog agility course and a grassy surface.

    Near the entrance is a bin and water tap with bowl and there are toilets outside the fenced area. The size of the area is about 90 x 20m and there's no separate area for small quiet dogs.

    Ararat Fenced Dog Park

    This park is dedicated to fun and exercise with your dog. Dogs may run off leash, under voice control within the confines of the fenced area.

    Dogs must be:
  • 6 months or older
  • Always wearing a collar
  • Fully vaccinated, microchipped and registered
  • On leash if unsociable
  • Able to be recalled if on-leash

    Owners must:
  • Be in view and control of dogs at all times
  • Have a leash on hand at all times
  • Pick up your dog's waste and dispose of it in the bin provided
  • Do not bring food into the park (training treats exempted)
  • Be liable for any and all injuries caused by their dogs

    Not Allowed:
  • Dogs that are aggressive
  • Dogs in heat
  • Unsupervised children 12 years and under
