Apex Park Playground, Queen Street, Altona

This location is next to the water and can become rather wind-swept. Fathers wearing hair-pieces with suspect adherence should avoid this playground. The playground has been upgraded but still suffers from a lack of height - the Danny DeVito complex.
There are two low structures - separated by monkey bars. One has a wave slide, shop front, disks on a vertical pole and inclined walkway. The other structure has a curved and straight slide, climbing wall, arched walkway and ladder. Also swings, horizontal bars and a see-saw. There are toilets, unshaded tables, BBQ, water tap and outdoor gym.
