Anthony Avenue Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Doncaster)
A grassy strip leads down from Madeleine Street past a playground to a deep bowl with a clump of tea-trees on one side and some other trees dotted about. A seat overlooks the bowl area. There is no bin or water tap. You can tire your dog out quickly by standing at the top of the bowl and throwing a stick down below and getting your dog to run up the bank with the stick. Maybe a touch unfair but works a treat.
There is also a grassy strip at the extreme east of the reserve with an unshaded table which is best accessed from Anthony Street. There are some metal grilles over water channels in the bowl area which looks like it would get boggy after rain.
