Annie and Arthur Abrahams Reserve Playground, Blenheim Street, Bentleigh East

If you see a housing re-development area then you will generally see a trendy playground designed by some-one whose idea of what children want is a universe away from reality. This is almost a case in point. Located beside huge houses in a beautifully landscaped area but lacking real challenge and interest for kids. Three swings including one with harness, two tiny slides, pipes to make music, mirror which distorts your image so that it looks like you have four legs (this was fun), large rope climbing frame, big double springer, unusual basket swing and stand-on rotating disk.

BBQs, sheltered tables and water tap. Plenty of seats but minimal shade. Small basketball court with ring next door.

Access for Dogs:

Annie and Arthur Abrahams Reserve is entirely an on-leash park, which means you must keep your dog on leash at all times.
